Lever is always locked from outside. You need the key to enter from the outside, otherwise you cannot enter.

Construction:Steel, Zinc Dichromated chassis with Secure Thru Bolted Design
Application: Standard duty lever trim option for 1000R & 2000R (not recommended for use with SVR devices)
Door Prep: Installs into a standard 2 1/8″ hole (161) door lock prep.
Actuator: Cross shaped stainless steel
Lever: 5″ Solid Zinc Diecast Lever – 2 7/8″ Total Projection
Lever Design: Flat (standard shown).
Rose: 3 3/8″ wrought brass roses
Handing: Non-Handed…completely reversible
Door thickness: 1 3/4 standard
